We are Dicotomia Workshop! Dicotomia is Spanish for dichotomy: a division or contrast between two things that are or are represented as being opposed or entirely different. It’s often said that creativity and technical proficiency are on the opposite sides of the spectrum. We’re here to bridge the gap! We’re here to create and build content and technology together!

We are a boutique design and technology studio — a small workshop with big ideas. While we have been creating and designing for the past 5+ years all over the world, we also have a strong foundation in software engineering (including 5 years in the video game industry). Our extensive travels and work around the world have allowed us to be immersed in diverse cultures and ideas as we developed our creative and technical processes.

We’re a multidisciplinary studio focusing on the big picture. We love to build brands; developing a brand identity through thoughtful design and consultancy. We love to create everything from brand collateral to packaging to social media content (including writing copy!) We also love to design and develop websites — from crafting a beautiful and engaging interface to implementing the technology to power it. Our speciality is combining to elegant design with technical know-how.

Every little corner of this site is an example of what we can do. Everything you see here has been designed and built by us. This portfolio itself is a responsive WordPress custom theme using the Bootstrap framework and implementing various open source solutions that utilize jQuery and php. We run and manage our own web servers as we do have extensive experience building and maintaining servers and infrastructure in the online gaming space.

The great part about being a digital studio today is that we are not constrained by geography. We’ve worked with clients from around the world, from Peru to Belgium to Macau.
