The primary goal when creating the Condor Couture logo was to embody the duality of modern, elegant design and detailed, vibrant artisanal craftsmanship. As the Condor Couture brand aims to connect the contemporary with the classic, their logo needed to achieve the same.
With that in mind, we worked closely with the brand to develop the dual feather logo. With one white feather and one black feather, they each represent opposite ends of the spectrum: the classic and the contemporary, the modern discerning fashion consumer and the traditional Andean communites who aim to preserve their exquisite artforms. It also represents the majestic condor itself; the Andean condor is a large bird with beautiful white and black feathers.
The circular badge-style logo features the dual feathers in the middle with strong, muscular type and circular outline to help draw the eye to the centre. It’s a modern, somewhat trendy design that still has a timeless feel. The secondary logo features the feathers even more prominently with the Condor Couture text in a modern typeface that is both angular and soft at the same time as to not overpower the iconic dual feathers.
